The Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Let’s face it, we live in a crazy, ferocious world. Wars, terrorist attacks, rape and abuse tear innocent people’s lives apart for egotistical and selfish reasons of others, completely snubbing their rights and what they’re entitled to in a complete moment of madness, at the flick of a button or the pulling of a trigger. Its sad but it’s a reality we are facing on a daily basis which is why its important that you know what your human rights are. The United Nations outlined what basic rights and freedom we’re entitled to but its an insane amount of articles and words so Zen Pencils aka Gavin Aung Than, a freelance cartoonist based in Melbourne, Australia created this simplified version of the Declaration which I hope will serve as a colourful and slightly more amusing reminder that you can be who you are, stand up for what you believe in and love who you want to love. Although the world will probably never live in peace as one, spread the word and share this with your friends and family and stand up for what is yours!
